Hey you guys! Sorry I didn’t post yesterday, I was super tired! Had a long day today too so I figured I’d combine yesterday and today into one!
Yesterday for breakfast I had a mock-Orange Julius smoothie with strawberries!
I didn’t eat all of it because as it warmed up it got really thick and goopy so I think I added too much protein powder! haha ew… lol
For lunch I had an amazing juice with a handful of watermelon, one orange, and 1/4 of a yellow bell pepper!
This is I think by far my fave one that I’ve ever done!! I ended up making another for dinner, except with frozen watermelon to give it more of a slushy texture. After dinner I did my arm workouts since I have pretty much NO upper body strength! lol
I also did my mean ab’s challenge which consisted of 64 sit-ups, 101 crunches, and 30 push-ups! It’s been real tough going, but that combine with my plank challenge, I’m starting to really feel a difference!
I also took the dogs for a short walk. Leeloo doesn’t like having to come inside…
And when I tell her she needs to anyways and tug on her leash…
She says yeah…screw you…
But she’s a love ^_^
Today I made a delicious smoothie with my melon smoothie pack, 2 bananas, 2 oranges, an apple, and a handful of spinach. Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures because I had made a video on how to use the smoothie pack since I had gotten a few e-mails asking how you would do them and when I tried to put them onto my computer to edit, it said the file was corrupted and wouldn’t run 😦
But I can show you a fun little project on how to recycle your orange peels!
When you peel your orange, try to take off half of it in one piece with the “core” attached, like so
Then just put a little bit of olive oil inside, making sure to at least coat the “stem” and light!
It burns for quite awhile given its size.
For lunch I did a quick blend and run smoothie of watermelon, oranges, banana, and pineapple. Again I was unable to get a pic 😦
Dinner was a little heftier because due to my lack of calories for the day I was dealing with a headache and a lot of fatigue. I had an “unblended” smoothie (which pretty much means I had an ear of corn on the cob and a whole cucumber lol) and made another soup in my VitaMix.
This one had a tomato, handful of baby spinach, 1/2 layer of onion, garlic, a raw egg (for protein), and 1/2 of a orange bell pepper. I also added diced tomatoes and mushrooms after it was blended to give it a little texture. It was pretty good 🙂 Getting ready to do my abs and arms then head to bed early. Another crazy day tomorrow!!
Much love to all!
